Key Staff

Our staff members are committed to providing person centered programs through
residential, day, and employment services. We hire individuals who are highly motivated,
compassionate and dedicated to our mission. Staff members are from diverse backgrounds and
each bring a variety of professional experience to the team. All staff receive extensive training
and maintain all professional certifications.

MEET OUR STAFF


Shelley Bishop, Senior Director of Community Programs

Shelley joined Sertoma Centre in 2020 with more than 10 years experience in the field. She received her Master of Science Degree in Human Services Management from National Louis University in 2019 and has a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Criminal Justice, with a minor in Sociology from Governors State University.


Dana McFarlin-Lloyd, Director of Employment Services

Dana has been with Sertoma Centre since 2010. She has enjoyed a career in the field of job preparation and placement for over a decade, and has also worked as an educator and mental health professional. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Southern Illinois University and is a Master’s degree candidate in Counseling from Governor’s State University.


John Young, Director of Residential Services

John joined the Sertoma Centre staff in 2016. He has extensive experience in providing residential, home-based and counseling services to individuals with disabilities. John holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Bradley University.
