Increasing Independence and Self-Sufficiency
Program Description
Autism Services supports adults with diagnoses on the Autism spectrum through a highly structured program day that promotes personal growth and independence by strengthening daily living, communication and interpersonal skills, and increasing community access.
Additional Supports
- Transportation available through PACE or private pay
- Community outings to help generalize skills learned
- Coordinated case management provided by Qualified Intellectual Disability Professionals (QIDP)
- Support from contractual Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBA) available. Services include behavioral assessment, development of a behavior support plan and ongoing evaluation and supports.

- Available Monday through Friday, 8:30am – 3:30pm
Admission Criteria
To be eligible for Autism Services, a person must:
- Be at least 18 years old
- Have a diagnosis on the Autism spectrum
- Be able to adapt to a group setting within a reasonable time frame
- Be willing to participate in the program and attend on scheduled days
- Be able to self-medicate if medications are taken during day program hours
- Be able to have medical needs met by the program
- Meet funding requirement, which is usually Medicaid, or have ability to pay privately
