The BRIDGE Program offers skills training designed to offer opportunities for continued learning with a focus on functional life skills development in a group environment and active engagement in meaningful daily activities.
Instructional strategies focus on the development of cognitive, daily living, interpersonal, and social skills, as well as recreation and leisure activities, and community integration. Opportunities to develop academic skills in the areas of written language, money management and time orientation are available through individual plan development in a small group setting. Individuals may also elect to participate in vocational activities on a part-time basis.
Individuals in the BRIDGE program receive an increased level of support to assist with personal care needs.
