Consumers Shop, Snack and Sell at the Holiday Bazaar

James enjoyed shopping the bazaar

Consumers from all three of Sertoma Centre’s facilities participated in another successful Holiday Bazaar on Friday, December 6. Some consumers came to shop, searching out the perfect gift for family and friends. Others came to socialize and have a snack from the North Pole Café or the bake shop.

Then there were the consumers who had a primary objective, to sell the crafts they had been working on for weeks. They took great pride in being successful at this event, because they knew the money they earned with their crafts would go directly to their department. Some departments use the funds for outings like trips to the museums, some like to treat their work area to pizza other are trying to gather funds for items like a TV.

We were pleased with the attendance and with how many of consumer families, friends came to support this event. Board member and Sertoma Club member stopped by to check out the bazaar.

We want to say a big thanks to all the volunteers who came out to help. We had so many awesome volunteers who helped prior to the event, or at set-up, during the event and for clean-up. We could not have done it without you!
